#orange, pineapple and carrot/celery/ginger juice fresh squeezed!
We are really lucky to have an orange tree at our rental house, saves a ton of money on fresh squeezed oj.
Notice how really orange the one all the way to the right is, that’s the way it’s supposed to look not tropicana yellow.

New item at Trader Joe’s Fruity O’s tastes just like Fruit Loops with NO artificial flavors or colors. They are made with vegatable juice and of course tons of cane sugar. Unfortunately they have wheat flour in them and they are not organic, but once in a while I let the kids have “junk food” :)

I’m #Juicing!!! I absolutely love this combination my kids love it too! A rip off from Elderberries on Sunset Blvd LA, CA. It’s a combo of

6 long real carrots
8 celery stalks
1 medium sized piece of ginger peeled
3 apples
1/8 cup fresh squeezed orange juice

Makes about a pint

Surely there are more nutritious and less sugar blends out there but this is a great start for those new to juicing or anyone wanting a refreshing healthy drink.

Cheesetastic!!!! #Kerrygold cheese is even better than their butter which is delicious! Love the Dubliner and I can’t wait to try the vintage cheddar.

It has a distinctive rounded flavour and a natural hint of sweetness. Aged for 12 months, it has elements of mature cheddar, sweet nutty tones of a Swiss and the piquant bite of aged Parmesan.

Uses: A cheese that melts beautifully. Delicious in sandwiches, serve as a table cheese or shred and toss in salads.

My secret meat sauce ;) This is how I make a regular jar of marinara better! Chop up 1/4 cup of onion and a 1/4 red pepper, dice 1/4 cup carrot and mince 1-2 cloves garlic. Add 2 tablespoons butter to a pan on med, throw in the veggies (add anything additional you like here) sauté till soft or 5ish minutes Push all that to the side and throw in a pound of grass fed ground beef. Brown the beef. (if you wish you can drain the fat, I choose to leave mine in, I think it adds to the flavor of the sauce) Add the jar of sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes Serve on your favorite pasta, polenta, gnocchi, or bread.
